Notes

Scarecrow really hasn’t put a foot wrong since Robert Parker gave its inaugural 2003 vintage a stunning 98 points and effectively launched this “cult-of-cult” brand. Its annual releases sell out in minutes, its waitlist is thousands strong and its auction prices are record breaking. More importantly, there is real substance behind this “Wizard of Oz” brand. Its vineyard site in Rutherford is legendary amongst vintners, its winemaking and vineyard teams are masterful and its commitment to excellence is unwavering.

For the second successive vintage, Scarecrow has bottled a small number of magnums for commercial release, to be offered exclusively through E-Cep. Robert Parker has described Scarecrow 2011 as "a notable success in an extremely irregular vintage", reflecting Scarecrow's commitment to releasing only the very best. This is a rare opportunity to own something truly unique!

Total production of Scarecrow 2011 is just under 800 cases.
