Notes

Situated on the grounds of Rancho Caymus, the first piece of land ever awarded to an American (George Yount) by the Mexican administration in 1836, lies Kapcsandy Family Winery, on the Napa Valley floor. Kapcsandy’s soil has created some of Napa Valley's most historically-significant wines, including the Beringer wines at the end of last century. Lou Kapcsandy is the embodiment of the American dream, escaping Communist Hungary to find his way to a friendly place where he could express his passion for wine.

As a result of their exceptional dedication, the Kapcsandy family is repeatedly collecting illustrious awards: The Grand Vin has been awarded the ultimate 100RP three times, Roberta's reserve was rated 99RP twice and Rapszodia was already rated 98+RP once. Expectations for the 2013 vintage are extraordinarily high, with potentially 3 perfect scores by Robert Parker. The "Yountville Collection" bond is a unique horizontal of Kapcsandy 2013 flagship wines. It is a must have for any wine lover.
