Kapcsandy Family Winery is an extraordinary operation deeply rooted in the traditions of the very best French winemaking. From their historic Beringer Estate State Lane Vineyard on Napa Valley floor, the Kapcsandys produce a collection of world class wines, led by their Cabernet Sauvignon Grand Vin and Merlot Roberta’s Reserve.

For November’s offering, the Kapcsandys are offering a “mini vertical” of their Grand Vin, comprising one bottle of the 2007 and one bottle of the 2012 vintage, to be delivered together at the time of the 2012’s release in March 2015. The 2007 wine, which earned a perfect 100 Parker points, has been aged in ideal conditions at the winery. The 2012 just received a (96-100) point barrel score from Parker, who surmised that the 2012 "may rival the perfect 2007". This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to taste two of the best wines ever produced from one of Napa Valley’s superstars.

Production of Kapcsandy's Grand Vin was 300 cases in 2007 and is expected to be roughly 225 cases in 2012.
